Why we can promise twenty-four hours

Most laboratories run Monday to Friday, which is why a Friday collection becomes a Monday result and a weekend admission waits three days. Our instruments run seven days a week. Specimens are accessioned, screened, confirmed and released every day, weekends and holidays included. The office keeps business hours; the laboratory does not.
