PCR-based infectious disease testing performed in house on our own thermocyclers, never sent out. Respiratory, gastrointestinal and sexually transmitted infection panels with the same twenty-four hour clock as the rest of the menu.
Admission workups, vitamin and hormone panels, infectious disease screening, CBC with differential and complete blood chemistry. The routine testing a treatment program needs on intake, without a second vendor relationship to manage.

Common questions
Twenty-four hours, measured from the moment your specimen arrives at the laboratory rather than from when it was collected. Qualitative screening is typically reported the same day it is accessioned, and definitive LC-MS/MS quantitation the next day. Results post directly into your EMR platform or the web portal.
Yes. Helix Diagnostix runs testing seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Most laboratories run Monday to Friday, which is why a Friday collection becomes a Monday result elsewhere. Our instruments do not stop, so a weekend admission does not wait until Monday for a result. Client service hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern, but critical values are called any day and any hour.
We are interfaced with Kipu, Sunwave, Alleva, BestNotes and Ritten. HL7 and custom builds are available for other platforms, and a secure web portal with secure fax is standard for every account. Results route into the patient record automatically, so there are no PDFs to shuffle and no manual entry.

Yes. Helix Diagnostix is a high complexity clinical laboratory federally licensed under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments and accredited by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation. Our laboratory director is Dr. Etan Marks, an AP/CP board certified pathologist with subspecialty certification in hematopathology and dermatopathology. Proficiency testing records are available on request.

We then open your account in the LIS, arrange shipping or courier logistics, interface to your EMR, and train your team before go live.
